If you are interested in joining our team, please contact Dr. Jian Zhao and send your CV to jianzhao2024@outlook.com.
The Zhao Lab is expanding into several new research directions that span multiple interdisciplinary fields, including label-free mid-infrared photothermal chemical imaging, fluorescence microscopy, quantitative phase imaging, computational imaging (physics-modeling-based), and deep learning in imaging. We will collaborate with scientists from MIT, Boston University, UCSD, Purdue University, and the University of Central Florida to develop new optical imaging systems. We will also engage in applied research related to cancer and neuroscience in collaboration with scientists and doctors from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Cancer Center, College of Medicine, Boston University Medical School, and HHMI Janelia Research Campus.
Our lab is actively recruiting outstanding postdoctoral researchers and PhD students. We also welcome visiting scholars, undergraduates, and master's students to join our research team. Given the interdisciplinary nature of our research, which encompasses optics and photonics, electrical engineering, computational imaging, deep learning, biomedical engineering, and chemistry, we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds. We are especially interested in candidates with strong backgrounds in optical microscopy imaging and biomedical engineering.
If you are interested in our research, please contact Dr. Jian Zhao and send your CV to jianzhao2024@outlook.com.
